At three to five years old, students will learn about their bodies, the space around them, and each other through movement. Creative movement activities will encourage all children to participate. Hip-Hop and Character Dance

In hip-hop, students learn traditional and street steps while listening to popular music. Steps are taught, rehearsed and then combined to fit the instructor’s favorite songs. Character dance consists of dance for theatre, the Lindy Hop (Swing Dance) and any other form of dance that is defined by theatre. Our musical dance theatre students learn in one hour each a week, what it takes to become a versatile dancer. This class allows students to express themselves as they sing, act and learn steps for stage while rehearsing various musical numbers.
